Oh my goodness I want these two to interact so badly.
Compassion: In Sophie's world, there's one soul per birth, and her twin got theirs, so Sophie is soulless. She's also a skinchanger, capable of taking literally any form she can imagine. Throughout her young childhood she was bullied by her twin, and from her 10th birthday to about the age of 15 she was chased every night by the Devil. Sometimes she got away, sometimes she didn't. When she finally decided to face the Devil down, no one would go help her because it's the Devil. She ultimately 'won' the fight, except in this case winning meant taking some of the Devil's power and some other power into herself. This almost killed her, but in the end it didn't. Fast forward 10 years and while they're all coming home to meet for her father's death, she's thrown into a furnace, attacked by the kind of magic used to kill phoenixes, and stabbed through the middle with a spear that nullifies magic. Then her father blames her for something she didn't do that will lead to his inevitable death. Girl has some issues. Underneath her normal appearance, she's terribly scarred, currently injured, and nearly starving.
Forget: Go for it, but it probably won't stick, and he'd definitely get a (kind of humorous) lecture on how it's very rude to do things like that and also be questioned as to why he'd want to be forgotten.
Invisibility: While born a human, Sophie is pretty much a magical creature now. Whether you want her to be able to see Cole or not is up to you, though!
Possession: Sophie doesn't have a soul, but she has an extreme excess of willpower and the desire to remain herself, so if he tried it might be like hitting a brick wall.
